Estate Grown, Bordeaux-style wine, created from a varying blend of Petit Verdot, Merlot, Cabernet, Cab Franc, and Malbec
The name “Aca Modot” is the documented name of a Pomo Indian village that once existed on our property. The site is located on a slight knoll, the highest spot in the immediate vicinity of the valley floor, and the soil there is very porous and black from campfires that were once prevalent there. This well-drained rich soil produces some of the most concentrated fruit in the vineyard.
